• Advertisements cannot contain graphics that simulate interactivity (i.e. drop down menus, search boxes etc.) without that functionality actually existing.
• Advertisements cannot mimic news headlines in design, tone, 3rd person sentence structure, or topic.
• AreaGuides.net does not allow 3rd party serving of HTML/JavaScript code. Approved AreaGuides.net 3rd Party Servers are only authorized to serve the alternate images and/or the click-thru urls.
• All advertisements will be reviewed by AreaGuides.net and are subject to approval by AreaGuides.net before placement on the site.
• AreaGuides.net reserves the right to preserve the user experience of its sites, and reserves the right to remove any advertisement which is deemed annoying and/or harmful to our users at any time.

Policy Guidelines for Ad Units that Collect Personal Information

• Banner must state the primary purpose for which the information is being collected.
• Advertisers must include a prominent link to a privacy policy that is applicable to the information being collected.
• The name of the company collecting the personal information must be clearly and prominently identified within the ad unit.
• All advertisements that collect personal information are required to be labeled"ADVERTISEMENT" prominently within or above the ad unit. The size and font of the text is up to the sole discretion of AreaGuides.net.
